A dry white from Piedmont, made from 100% Cortese in the Gavi appellation, one of the best-known names for whites in northern Italy. Medium straw yellow in color. The nose is floral, with melon and a light citrus note. The palate is light, with good acidity. 13% ABV. Great as an aperitif and with canapés, light starters, delicate fish dishes and truffled tajarin, the Piedmontese egg pasta with butter, Parmesan and truffle. Serve at 10–12 °C.
