Carlos Basso Petit Verdot 2012 - 750ml

A 100% Petit Verdot signed by winemaker Carlos Basso, from Finca La Amalia vineyards in Altamira, La Consulta (San Carlos, Mendoza). It ages 18 months in new French oak barrels. More than ten years after harvest, it is a red with real bottle age. Deep ruby in color. The nose shows raspberry, cherry, plum and spice. The palate is powerful, full-bodied and structured, with a pleasant texture, great balance and a persistent finish. 14% ABV. Pairs with roast red meat and pasta with rich sauces. Serve at 16–18 °C.
