A Petit Verdot from the Vineyard Selection line of Casa de Uco, in Mendoza's Uco Valley. A grape usually used in blends, bottled here on its own after 18 months in barrel. Intense, bright red with dark glints. The nose shows nuts such as pecan and walnut, black fruit and plum. The palate opens fresh and very intense, with a long, juicy finish. 14.2% ABV. Pairs with juicy meats, hard cheeses and lamb chops. Serve at 16–18 °C.
