Casa Grande Blend de Blancas 2024 - 750ml

A Uruguayan white from Bodega Casa Grande Arte & Viña, in Canelones, with 50% Viognier, 30% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Albariño. Each grape adds something: Viognier brings fruit and body, Sauvignon freshness, and Albariño a citrus, saline touch. Pale straw yellow with green tints. The nose is fresh and expressive, with stewed peach, pear and pineapple and hints of sage and honeysuckle. The palate moves from fruit sweetness to a light bitterness of citrus peel, with white pepper, good body, balanced acidity and a long finish. 12.5% ABV. Pairs with white cheeses, sushi and other Asian dishes, salads and fresh-fruit desserts. Serve at 6–8 °C.
