Costa Arente Valpolicella Superiore DOC Valpantena 2021

A Valpolicella Superiore from the Valpantena sub-zone, made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. No oak: it ages 1 year in steel and another 3 months in bottle, keeping the fresh fruit in front. Deep ruby with garnet glints. The nose shows fresh red fruit, earthy touches and almond. The palate is medium-bodied, with good acidity, firm tannins and a fruity, elegant flavor. 13.5% ABV. Pairs with red meat and pasta with tomato or medium-intensity sauces. Serve at 16–18 °C.
