A red from the Lisbon region made from Castelão and Touriga Nacional. It spends 8 months in American oak barrels, which add a soft caramel touch. Ruby in color. The nose is elegant and complex, with ripe red fruit, a striking floral note and soft hints of caramel. The palate is silky, elegant and well balanced. Versatile: it works with food and on its own. 13% ABV. Pairs with red meat, game and cheese. Serve at 16–18 °C.
