Ensaio #IV 2020 Tinto - 750ml

The red of the Ensaio line, Monte da Raposinha's small-lot wines. It is 100% Alicante Bouschet, a red-fleshed grape that has adapted very well to the Alentejo. The importer labels it “Biológico”, meaning organically grown. Deep, concentrated ruby. The nose shows ripe wild berries and a light eucalyptus-leaf note. The palate has volume, good acidity and present but soft tannins, with surprising freshness. 14% ABV. Pairs with meat, cheese, charcuterie and vegetarian dishes with tomato sauce or roasted vegetables. Serve at 16–18 °C.
