Ensaio #V Blanc de Noir Brut Nature - 750ml

Blanc de Noir is a white sparkling wine made from red grapes: the skins are separated right away, so the wine stays clear. In Ensaio #V, Monte da Raposinha, from Alto Alentejo, uses Touriga Nacional, Portugal's great red grape. It is Brut Nature, the driest style there is, with no added sugar, and it ages 12 months in bottle. Citrus white color, fruity and complex aroma with citrus nuances. Fine bubbles, firm acidity, plenty of freshness and balance, 12% alcohol. A sparkling wine for those who already know sparkling wines and want something different: oysters, seafood, salt cod and aged cheeses. Serve between 8 and 10 °C.
