Trapezio Bobó 2011 - 750ml

The oldest Bobó vintage in the shop: the flagship red of Finca La Promesa (Trapezio), in Mendoza, made from Malbec and Cabernet Franc and aged 18 months in oak barrels. About fifteen years after harvest, it is a bottle for collectors and special occasions. According to the importer's notes, Bobó shows ripe black fruit, vanilla, smoke, dried herbs and chocolate, with present tannins and long persistence. In a vintage this old, expect more developed notes. 14.5% ABV. Open it ahead of time. Pairs with rack of lamb, mushroom risotto and aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18 °C.
