Trapezio Bobó 2014 - 750ml

Bobó is the flagship red of Finca La Promesa (Trapezio), in Mendoza: a blend of Malbec and Cabernet Franc (70% and 30% in this vintage, according to the importer) aged 18 months in oak barrels. The 2014 vintage arrives with more than ten years in bottle. Deep purple in color. The nose shows ripe black fruit such as cherry, plum and cassis, with vanilla, smoke, dried herbs and chocolate. The palate shows spice and woody touches, balanced freshness, present tannins and long persistence. 14.5% ABV. Pairs with roast leg of lamb, rack of lamb, stuffed pork loin and duck risotto with shiitake. Serve at 16–18 °C.
