Quinta do Portal Grande Reserva Tinto 2019 - 750ml

The Grande Reserva is one of the Douro's most decorated reds of the 2019 vintage: 94 points from Wine Enthusiast (Top 100 Cellar Selections) and from Decanter, a Grand Gold Medal at the Concurso Vinhos de Portugal and Red Wine of the Year by Aníbal Coutinho. It blends Touriga Nacional (60%), Tinta Roriz (30%) and Touriga Franca (10%) and spends 14 months in new French oak. Deep ruby, with ripe blackberry and black cherry and a fresh wild-herb note. The palate has good acidity and firm but ripe, polished tannins, well integrated with the toast from the oak, leading to a long finish with a pleasant hint of bitterness. 14% alcohol. Ideal with red meat, game and cheese. Serve at 16–18 °C. Vegan.
